Coronavirus Policies (Covid-19)

Last Updated: 22 May, 2020

At Luun Vacation Group our priority is the health and safety of our travellers, team members and partners.

We are closely monitoring information regarding Coronavirus (Covid-19) on a daily basis and also following the guidance of the health and travel authorities here in Mexico, and internationally.

We know that this is an unsettling time for all of us.

We will continue to operate to ensure that our clients who still wish to travel can do so, where travel restrictions allow us to do so and in line with guidance from health authorities

It is our goal to help you enjoy your own, private piece of paradise here in the Riviera Maya.

We are putting all health and safety precautions in place with our on-site team, team members and partners by increasing the sanitation procedures to ensure that the cleanliness is at its peak.

However, please be aware that it is ultimately your responsibility to follow all necessary precautions during your travel and stay.

We urge you to check all updated travel policies of your country before you travel, as well as in Mexico in case they are subject to change.

If you decide to travel soon…here’s what we’re doing

If you are scheduled to check-in before July 1st, we are waiving all our rescheduling fees and offering a credit to rebook with us. New reservations dates must fall within 12 months from July 1st 2020 and the same experience must be booked. If the rates for your new reservation are higher, you do not need to cover the difference.

Peace of Mind Reservation Policy

For all new and existing reservations affected by travel restrictions linked to Covid-19, or should anybody from your group become ill in relations to Covid-19, The Luun Vacation Group offers a date change at no cost within 12 months starting July 1st 2020.

Please schedule a call on our virtual calendar or email us for at:

What you can do to stay healthy !

Whether you’re at home or traveling, we recommend practicing good hygiene to protect yourself against infection:

  1. Wash your hands frequently with soap or alcohol-based sanitizer.
  2. Maintain all distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.
  3. Avoiding touching your eyes, nose and mouth.
  4. If you become sick, please seek medical attention quickly.

Lastly, to everyone out there, look after yourself, stay active (especially if you’re stuck at home), read a book, learn a new skill, help a neighbour in need, call a family member or friend who is home alone and keep the good vibes going.

Stay safe and stay positive.
